Session Information
The First Few Sessions
The first few sessions are a time to get oriented. We talk about what has brought you here, what feels most pressing, and what you hope might shift through counselling. There is no expectation to share everything at once. We move gradually, with attention to what feels manageable and important to begin with.
You are welcome to ask questions at any point, including questions about how counselling works, pacing, or fit. Counselling is a shared process, and it is important that it feels respectful and collaborative.
Practical Details
I currently offer counselling sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 4:00 and 8:00 pm. When needed, I’m also able to offer sessions at other times that we agree on together. Sessions are one hour in length (50 minute clinical hour).
My rate is $140 per session. Payment details and receipts for insurance purposes are discussed during the intake process. Counselling is offered in person in Edmonton and online across Alberta.
Fit and Boundaries
This practice offers a calm, steady space for reflection and healing. It isn’t set up for emergency or crisis support, so if you’re in immediate danger or distress, urgent services or crisis lines can respond more quickly than I can.

This approach is best suited for people who want to move at a thoughtful pace, those who value time, conversation, and the slow work of understanding their story. Counselling here unfolds over time, with care given to pace, context, and meaning.
If You Are Unsure
If you are unsure whether counselling is the right step, that uncertainty is welcome here. Many people reach out before they are certain. We can begin by talking it through and deciding together what makes sense next.
